Apple usually sends out invites a week before the event. It is also unclear if Apple will also unveil the rumored low-cost or budget ‘iPhone 5C’ at the special event.

The next generation iPhone, which is informally dubbed iPhone 5S, is expected to look similar to the iPhone 5, but come with improved internals such as a faster A7 chip with 2GB RAM, 12-megapixel camera, capability to take slow-motion videos, dual-LED flash, and may feature a fingerprint sensor. It will also come pre-installed with iOS 7.
