Leaked components suggests iPhone 5S will be available in gold color

Images of what appear to be components of the iPhone 5S have been posted on Chinese social networking site Sina Weibo, suggests that the next generation iPhone will also be available in gold color.

The images show the iPhone 5S’ SIM tray, volume buttons, mute switch and power button in a golden finish, as compared to the standard colored components of the iPhone 5 and theiPhone 4S. This lends credence to earlier rumors about the iPhone 5S being available in colors apart from the usual black and white. The components themselves are very similar to those found in earlier generation iPhones, suggesting that there’s a not that might change..

While the timing of these component leaks is certainly curious, it’s unlikely we see an update to the iPhone product lineup next week during WWDC. What’s more likely though, is thatiPhone 5S production has been initiated and is in full swing.
